Confidentiality

What does it mean for you regarding records and salaries?

Not only is confidentiality in the workplace company policy it is also ethical to keep personal information confidential. Employees have access to not only important company information but also coworkers personal information. It is extremely important that every employees follows the confidentiality rules put into place, they are there to make sure private information stays private and so the company or employees arent hurt in the process. It is important that salary stays private and only between the managers and the employee. Others feeling can get hurt if they find out a coworker is making more than them.
